News: Many of you probably already know that Hans Dangl passed away a couple of weeks ago.

           Heather is on vacation - but I plan to attend.

As promised, here are the details regarding the meeting in Günzburg (this Friday!).

Friday August 14th, 7pm

 

They serve Vietnamese and Thai dishes, as well as sushi. We are planning on sitting outdoors, weather permitting. The restaurant is on the outskirts of town, close to Legoland. If needed, pick-up from the train station could be arranged, or even carpooling from Ulm, so please RSVP and let us know whether you need a ride or can offer one (if applicable).

In addition, we're already able to announce our next softball game. (The previous one was a huge success!)

As an added bonus, the next game will be on the same day as and just within footsteps of the Ulm Stammtisch at Hundskomödie! That's a great occasion for anyone curious to swing by the softball field before going to the restaurant.

Hello everyone, 

 

It's been a long time since I last wrote, as we couldn't hold any events. I hope you're all safe and healthy, and could make the best out of a difficult situation. While the global pandemic is far from over, the situation here appears to have improved enough so that we can start to have gatherings again.

 

We will be having a Stammtisch this Friday at Teutonia. Depending on how many people we are, we might have to be divided into two or more "smaller" groups, but that's hardly different from our usual meetings. Please refer to any official source of information for more details the current regulations regarding restaurants and biergartens. 

Also, please stay at home in the unlikely case that you think might have been in contact with the virus, or have travelled back from a high-risk area recently.

Hi to all

 

As you no doubt expected – Email English Stammtisch is canceled for Thursday – and indefinitely in the next months.  

 

Maybe we can hope for a June meeting.   Possibly at Hundskomödie again?

 

 

My plan for the next while is to do some spring cleaning – instead of going to the gym. Stay home if possible and stay healthy!

Unfortunately, due to the current situation in relation to the coronavirus, we have to cancel the Stammtisch for this month. We'll reassess the situation in April for the next event, but as the current directives concerning gatherings are to be in force until April 19th, it is unlikely that our next Stammtisch will be before that date.

 

In the meantime, I encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to follow the guidelines issued by the competent authorities.
