Desmond Egan with Diarmuid Johnson – An Irish Evening of Poetry and Music

Now in its Seventh Year!   February 8th – 8 p.m.

From the Irish Midlands, Desmond Egan is regarded by many as Ireland's leading con-temporary poet, having published 24 collections of poetry. He has been translated into many languages, including German, and has received many international awards for his poetry. His poem »Peace« was transla­ted into hundreds of languages as part of a millennium celebration. Diarmuid Johnson is not only an accomplished musician, but also a poet himself, publishing mainly in Irish. Together they will be blending words with music to create a truly unforgettable experience.
