How are you? I hope you're all well, and surviving all the colds that seem to be spreading around at the moment. Lots of people seem to be ill lately. I guess it's just the season for it.

 

I'm sorry to send out the invitations for our next Stammtisch late. I hope this doesn't mean that less people will be able to join us! (We're meeting up next week!)

 

This time, we will be meeting on a Friday. I hope this won't mean that less people will be able to make it. :-/

I hope you're all well. I moved house last Saturday, plus I had a huge amount of work on top of that what with my university students having their exams. That is the reason why I have sent the Stammtisch emails out so late. I'm so sorry about that, but I was just way too busy and also too stressed. I also had no internet in the new flat until the day before yesterday, which made things even harder. The Stammtisch will be the second Thursday in the month, instead of the first Thursday, as I will be extremely busy with marking exams this coming week.

How are you all?! I hope you're well, and you had a lovely time celebrating over Christmas and New Year's Eve. Hopefully you all had a lovely, enjoyable and relaxing break. I had a wonderful time over Christmas in Wales, and then celebrated New Year's Eve here in Germany with Raclette – in true German style. ;-) Hopefully I'll see some of you very soon, and then I'll be able to hear how you all celebrated and started off your new year.

 

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy, healthy, prosperous, peaceful, successful, joyful, loving and simply wonderful New Year for 2016! J I wish you all things positive, and hope that this year will be all you hoped for, and more! J

I thought perhaps some people may be away. Therefore I have put it back one week. I hope you're all well, and surviving this colder and snowy winter weather! ;-)

 

So, I thought I would try this place out for a Stammtisch! I went there very recently for breakfast with some friends, and was very satisfied! The atmosphere is great, the decor is beautiful, and the food was great too! :-) I wanted to go somewhere close to the Münsterplatz Christmas market again, as I do every Christmas season, but I find Ratskeller too loud for our (usually bigger) group. That's when I thought of this place. The Mittelaltlermarkt, on the Neu-Ulm Rathausplatz, will also be on! (Some of you may be wondering why I have chosen a Wednesday evening for our meet up this time - and the reason is simply because they are already booked out for other parties throughout December, both on Thursday and Friday evenings!) ;-)
