Fwd: July English Stammtisch - Take 2! :-) - This Thursday 25th July!

How are you doing? I hope you're all well, and enjoying this fantastic summer sunshine we're having?!…

(As I mentioned already, in my last email earlier in the month, for the 1^st Stammtisch in July – we've decided to have a second one this month. George, who brings all the equipment and explains the rules for softball, will be away in August, therefore we can't do that then. That's the reason for the 2^nd meet-up). ;-)

 

Our 2^nd Stammtisch for July, is this Thursday evening!! J

 

We're going to have another game of softball again! After that, we'll do the same as May, June, and earlier this month, by going to the Beer Garden/Pizzeria – Hundskömodie. (Please note, if you don't wish to come along for the game, you of course don't have to! You can either just watch the game, or just come along to the restaurant itself instead!) ;-)

Our Stammtisch for July, is happening on the usual day again! J

Also – FYI – we can't have a game of softball in August unfortunately. Therefore, George and I have decided to perhaps have another game, (and maybe a meal afterwards again too), on Thursday 25th July. This way it doesn't interfere with any other Stammtisch's/Meet-Ups happening on various different Thursday's in July, and it's also still reasonably close to August. However, I will just drop you all another line nearer the time if we do decide to have another Stammtisch on 25th July, and then you can see if you can make that too! (Or perhaps that date may even suit you better!)…

 

I hope you can make it on the 4^th though, and I really look forward to seeing you there! J

In July Bob and Annette will be back for a visit - and they requested meeting at Hundskomödie on July 18th.  I think Heather's parents will be joining us, too.   So mark that date on your calendars as well.   You'll be receiving an invitation in July - nearer to the date.

Sarah Jane Lees 8:49pm Jun 3 Just to let everyone know... Please note: This months English Stammtisch will in fact take place NEXT Thursday, 13th June. (Instead of the usual 1st Thursday in the month which should have been this week). This is because I will be going away this Thursday afternoon. I'm sorry about that. I hope plenty if you can still make it next week instead. We will be doing the same thing as last month. (First a game of softball at Friedrichsau park in Ulm, and then pizza/pasta at Hundskomödie Beer Garden/Pizzeria (which is also in Friedrichsau). I will be posting the invitation out, and creating the event page with more information on it very soon, so keep your eyes open! ;-) Another thing too, is - we will be joining together with the International Group for this event. (Their meet-ups happen every second Thursday in the month, at Café Kornhauskeller in Ulm.... so it should have been the same night as my Stammtisch for this month. Therefore Carsten (the organiser of the other group) and I, have just decided to join both groups together for this month. I think it will be great fun and it's a good idea! :-)) Hope to see you next Thursday evening then! :-)))
