Unfortunately, due to the current situation in relation to the coronavirus, we have to cancel the Stammtisch for this month. We'll reassess the situation in April for the next event, but as the current directives concerning gatherings are to be in force until April 19th, it is unlikely that our next Stammtisch will be before that date.

 

In the meantime, I encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to follow the guidelines issued by the competent authorities.

He has been translated into many languages, including German, and has received many international awards for his poetry. His poem »Peace« was transla­ted into hundreds of languages as part of a millennium celebration. Diarmuid Johnson is not only an accomplished musician, but also a poet himself, publishing mainly in Irish. Together they will be blending words with music to create a truly unforgettable experience.

Someone could easily change the year by adding two more digits.   2019  or  2026.

It's better to write out the full year.   2020

It's not December yet, but I wanted to send this email out before everyone is completely booked out before the holidays. We'll have a couple of different gatherings in December, so hopefully everyone who's interested will be able to make it to at least one of them.

 

English Stammtisch Ulm

The regular monthly restaurant meeting in Ulm; as it's become tradition, we'll be going to Konzertsaal in Neu-Ulm for our last meeting of the year. Everyone is welcome to come sporting their finest seasonal attire.

Some of our group members have decided to organize a Christmas Market meeting on December 6th.

Christmas Market Günzburg
Sarah has invited us to come have a Glühwein (or Kinderpunsch) with her at the Christmas Market in Günzburg. There will be live music from 5 to 8pm, and Günzburg is lifting parking fees in the town center on this day (please double-check; I am not taking responsibility for any ticket you might get).

Impromptu Gathering Dec. 20th

Our old friend Colin from Australia and now living in Berlin is coming to Ulm for a visit on Dec. 20th. Anyone interested in catching up with him on that day can reply to stay in the loop.
