Hi Michelle,
I heard the story about the dentist in Germany that tied up the woman and took the bridges out of her mouth.

Funny thing, I live in Neu-Ulm, Germany where this happened.

According to the papers and police reports, he didnt tie her up or use any dental tools.

He rang her bell, and when she opened, he "just" grabbed her face, and pinched her cheecks together so that she had to open her mouth, then "just" removed the bridges. Apparently a neighbour who had also been to that dentist witnessed that the dentist was in the stairwell of the appartment house. He said he is innocent, and it must have been a look-alike.

The bridges are expensive here as well, and her (standard state health) insurance paid allot of the fees, but she still had to pay a part of the fees, which were still at about 400 EUROs (US$ 600), which she didnt pay for months, the dental assistants called and went by ften, but never got a response.

Cheers,
Alan

Fw: English Stammtisch - Sept. 25th

----- Original Message ----- To: Burton Heather Sent: Thursday, September 18, 2008 12:42 PM Subject: English Stammtisch - Sept. 25th
Hi everyone
English Stammtisch will be on Thursday, September 25th starting at 7 p.m. - at Hundskomödie Restaurant again this month.
Hundskomödie is in Friedrichsau Park. You can park on the parking lot by the camper vans - which is very near the Ulm jail.
There is some construction work going on - but you can still park there. Or the streetcar will get you there, too.
In three months we'll be meeting at the Christmas Market!
Hope you can make it.

Dear friends, Arbeitskollege, Piloten usw...
please note that a private concert will take place at Erbach Flugplatz the forthcoming Sunday, August the 10th.
My very wellknown friend Martin is coming especially from Paris to follow my blues-style piano with a fancy electric guitar.
Concert is based on music from the 50's/60's with a bit of french songs anyway (for the honour ;-)
I'll be glad to meet you all there for the ones who will attend!
Cu soon anyway, take care.

Hello Folks,

I take this oppurtunity to introduce myself as Shagun Dudeja.

At present, I work as a Freelance English Language Trainer and would be very interested in networking with other English language teachers in the region to share and exchange ideas, experience and knowledge. Also, to find some new friends in the group :-)

I specialize in conducting tailor-made English language teaching courses / workshops for companies, institutes and private groups to meet specific customized, professional and corporate needs. Besides English teaching, I also hold a four and half year's executive experience in internationally renowned companies such as GE, Motorola and Nortel Networks. This combination rightly provides me with a very fine approach to conduct specific and customized in-company courses.

I hail from India and have an excellent background in written and spoken English. Regarding my educational qualifications, I hold a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from University of New Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from another reputed Business school in India. I have pursued a stint of journalism in my graduation days both on the reporting and editing side.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks & Regards

Hi everyone,

is anybody up for a short trip to New York at the end of August? I will be there for the Salsa Congress dated 26.08 - 02.09 and will appreciate to explore New York with any of you. We can also add a couple of days to have a more relaxed stay.

Does anybody have friends in NY or did anybody of you use to live in NY?

Hope you are interested or have any good ideas.
