The Holiday Season is almost here.

 

Let's meet one more time for English conversation in 2015.  You've probably already been to Christmas Markets, so let's meet in Söflingen at:

It's right at the Westplatz tram stop - where Söflinger Str. and Wagner Str. cross.

You might find parking in front of Thales in the evening. Söflinger Str. 100, - or at Westbad swimming pool parking area.

Blautalcenter is also not so far away - and you can park for 3 hours for free.

 

Linda Northover, who formerly lived in Ulm, plans to join us on Dec. 17th.

I hope you're all well, and surviving this colder and snowy winter weather! ;-)

 

So, I thought I would try this place out for a Stammtisch! I went there very recently for breakfast with some friends, and was very satisfied! The atmosphere is great, the decor is beautiful, and the food was great too! :-) I wanted to go somewhere close to the Münsterplatz Christmas market again, as I do every Christmas season, but I find Ratskeller too loud for our (usually bigger) group. That's when I thought of this place. The Mittelaltlermarkt, on the Neu-Ulm Rathausplatz, will also be on! (Some of you may be wondering why I have chosen a Wednesday evening for our meet up this time - and the reason is simply because they are already booked out for other parties throughout December, both on Thursday and Friday evenings!) ;-)
