How are you all doing? Well, I hope?! I hope you've all been able to enjoy all this wonderful sunny weather we've been having, too?!! J

 

I just wanted to contact you about the details for our next Stammtisch. I am holding it on the 2^nd Thursday in April this time, and not the 1^st Thursday as usual…as I won't be in Germany! ;)

The details you need are as follows:

 

Where?         Name: Himilaya Indian Restaurant.

 

                        Address: Marktplatz 5, 89073 Ulm, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany

When?  12^th April 2012.

 

What time? From 7pm onwards.

 

 

Please let me know if you can come or not, as usual… as this will make booking enough tables and chairs much easier!

On Wednesday 14th March there will be a benefit concert for the victims of Fukushima, Japan for the first anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami.

 

This will take place from 20:00 at the Pauluskirche in Ulm. 

 

The concert has two pieces by Faure, the Pelleas et Melisande (orchestral suite op. 80) and the Requiem (in which I will be singing as part of the Oratorienchor). The evening will then close with the Japanese national anthem. Entrance is free with a donation being made at the end of the concert.

There's a newly opened Greek restaurant in Neu Ulm called TAVERNE zum Griechen - and they have a separate side room that we can use.

We'll try it once - and see how we like it, OK?
