How are you all doing?...Well, I hope?! J

I also hope you all had a nice long Easter weekend, whatever you were doing?!

The weather was just absolutely perfect, wasn't it? Really beautiful. J

 

So, this month I've decided to try and take advantage of all this lovely weather we're having, and go to a beer garden! Already in May (spring, instead of summer!)

A bit daring of me, isn't it?! Although, even if the weather turns out to be not so good/cold/rainy, we can just move inside instead. It will be easy. J

Hello Everyone

 

Our next English Stammtisch will be on 21 April - starting at 7 p.m. at:

I suppose it would be appropriate to wear proper English attire in celebration of the queen's birthday on 21 April.  Hats for the ladies and waistcoats for men?? 

Or an English t-shirt perhaps? 

 

 

For the new members: Hundskomödie is an Italian restaurant in Friedrichsau Park - near the parking area where the camper vans can park - just past the Ulm jail.          

                                        There is a streetcar stop nearby, too.  A narrow sidewalk takes you past a kindergarten - and then you'll see the restaurant on your left.   

 

Next week you might even still be able to see the 100,000 daffodils which are now in bloom in the park.

     There are a couple of comedies on in original English version at the cineama:
    "Just go with it - Meine erfundene Frau" this week in Dietrich
    "Death at a Funeral - Sterben für Anfänger" Easter week at Obscura

Hi all, J

 

the time has now come around again to tell you about my next Stammtisch for April (it's next week already!!)

 

I have decided to go back to Café Einstein again this month, as last time we went there I thought it was really nice (and I also had positive feedback from others who went too!)

The atmosphere was great and also there wasn't too much background noise - which was excellent! The food was also good! ;)
