Yes, I know the weather is perfect today but we're playing softball next Thursday, August 2^nd @ 18:30 in Friederichsau Park. Dawn and Dietmar will be back from their bicycling vacation and I'll have Matt's ball glove as well so we should have lots to look forward to next week.

 

If I'm reading the Ulmer Wochenblatt correctly, it looks like the latest Harry Potter film as well as the Simpsons will be shown in the original version at the Xinedome.

Hello one and all,

 

To the 12 people who decided they wanted to have some fun playing softball last night, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was really surprised at everyone's enthusiasm. Kate even showed up with little Colin and they seemed to have a good time watching us. (The good news is that Kate is getting her son started early.) Afterwards, we walked over to Hundskömodie and had something to eat and drink.

 

We are tentatively planning our next softball evening for Thursday, July 26 at 18:30.

If you wanna have some fun before you die, then you have to come play softball with us tonight. Ja! Ja! Ja! Ich weiß dass Wetter in Ulm ist wechselhaft aber es bleibt immer so. I spoke with Dawn this morning and she said," Play ball! " I checked out the field last night and everything looks fine. The grass has been recently cut and the playing surface is OK. We'll meet in Friederichsau Park around 18:30 and start warming up. So, unless there is a tremendous downpour, we are going to play ball. All you have to do is dress a little warmer.  

 

The last thought I want to leave with you is this…Can you say you played softball at least once in your life and had a little fun.

Hi one and all,

 

This may be our one and only chance to play softball before Matt heads to the USA for vacation. As some of you know, Matt and I act as coaches (co-hosts along with Dawn and Dietmar) for an evening of fun, adventure and laughs. You do not have to be athletic to have fun! We will meet in Friedrichsau Park between the Donau and the Aquarium near the last tram stop around 18:30 to start warming up. We usually have enough equipment for everyone to play. All you need to bring is yourself, a willingness to try and a little pocket money for something to drink afterwards. The weather doesn't have to be perfect to play softball and everyone knows the weather here is almost never perfect so try to be a little adventuresome and show up Wednesday evening. Dawn, Matt and I will talk the closer it gets to Wednesday evening in case we have to cancel due to flooding, a hurricane or other natural disaster. Soooooooooo……what I'm really trying to say is that the idea is to play even if the weather is not perfect. We hope to see as many as possible next Wednesday.
